Commencement of first phase facilities in Clinical Oncology at DSCI was formally inaugurated on Saturday, the 26th August 2006 by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt. Sheila Dikshit in the gracious presence of Hon’ble Minister of Health & FW, Dr Yoganand Shastri; Hon’ble Member of Parliament from East Delhi, Sh Sandeep Dixit; Hon’ble Member of Legislative Assembly, Sh Veer Singh Dhingan alongwith Hon’ble Councillors Sh. Ajit Chaudhury and Smt. Kiran Wati Tank.

DSCI, at present, is providing dedicated treatment facilities in Clinical Oncology comprising of high precision radiotherapy with latest technology Linear Accelerator and chemotherapy facility for cancer patients on day-care basis. The Institute has installed all these facilities in a soothing and patients’ friendly environment.
